Available exclusively at Gap Arborist Supply, the 25’ basal anchor sling can be used to anchor your single line to the tree and allow SRT climbers to be lowered to the ground in case of an emergency rescue.
This basal anchor sling from Gap Arborist Supply is used to secure a single-line system. It consists of a tachyon cord spliced onto an Rock Exotica TriRig Rigging plate; in case of emergency rescue, it allows SRT climbers to be lowered to the ground.
This sling can be used with different lowering devices (Petzl Rig, for example) and backup configurations—for instance, a small port-a-wrap can be a good device to use if most groundworkers are already familiar with it.
