About The Splice Shop
A sewn or spliced eye makes a rope easier to rig and cleaner to run through hardware than a knot, and it keeps more of the rope's strength. Spliced slings and lanyards are a staple for both climbing and rigging, and a shop that splices is the place to get them.
When ordering, give the rope type, diameter, length and eye size, and confirm the splice is right for how you will use it. Inspect splices for slipping, cut strands or worn covers. Any gear that holds a person must meet the applicable standard (ANSI Z133 and the manufacturer's instructions), be inspected before each use, and be used by trained climbers.
