A patent-pending product by Tylaska, the LH20 Basilisk, is a braking and rope redirection device that can control the lowering of tree limbs and logs. The Tylaska Basilisk is similar to the LH28 but is smaller and lighter. Its main advantage over other products is that it has a closed aperture passageway, which prevents the attachment line from getting damaged. It eliminates the need for a spliced connection. The dual-line configuration allows for the attachment points to articulate with movement. It also enables the attachment of two separate lines to the device's ends for a bridle-type suspension. Through holes in the belt are used to pass the running line.
