Bucket

This bucket truck cover fits a one-man bucket and uses a foam insert to crown the top so rain and snow run off. It keeps water, leaves and sawdust out of the bucket when the truck sits overnight or between jobs.

Why cover the bucket

An open bucket collects rain, snow, leaves and sawdust. Standing water in a bucket liner is a problem for the liner and for anyone who climbs in the next morning, and debris can foul controls. A fitted cover keeps it clean and dry between jobs.

The foam insert lifts the center of the cover so water runs off instead of pooling and stretching the vinyl.

A covered bucket is also nicer to step into on a cold morning. There is no puddle to stand in, no wet leaves underfoot and no grit on the floor that can work into the liner or onto controls. For crews that park trucks outside overnight, a cover pays for itself quickly in cleanup time saved.

Fit and care

Measure the top of your bucket before ordering, since one-man buckets vary between manufacturers. Remove the cover before operating the boom and stow it where it cannot blow into traffic.

A cover does not replace inspection of the bucket and liner. Insulated buckets and liners on line-clearance trucks need their own testing and inspection. Wipe the vinyl clean and let it dry before folding. Shop other bucket truck accessories.

Store the cover in a dry compartment when it is not on the bucket so the vinyl does not crack or mildew.
