BucketPro grade

This Estex bucket truck cover with a Polycomb insert fits a one-man 28 x 34 in bucket and keeps rain, leaves and debris out while the truck is parked or on the road. The insert helps the cover hold its shape so water runs off instead of pooling.

Why cover the bucket

A bucket left open fills with water, leaves and sawdust. Standing water and debris are hard on liners and anything stored in the bucket, and wet leaves underfoot are a slip hazard when the operator climbs in. A fitted cover keeps the bucket dry and clean between jobs and on the road.

The Polycomb insert gives the cover a stiff top so it does not sag into the bucket and collect water. Measure your bucket's top opening before ordering to confirm the 28 x 34 in size.

The cover also helps keep tools, ropes and gear stored in the bucket dry and in better condition between jobs. On trucks parked outdoors overnight, a covered bucket means the operator starts the day without bailing out water or scraping wet leaves off the floor, and keeps the bucket liner cleaner for its regular inspections.

Use and care

Remove the cover fully before operating the boom, and stow it so it cannot blow loose. Brush off debris and let it dry before long storage. More gear for aerial work is in bucket truck accessories.

A cover does not change any rating of the bucket or its liner. Follow the lift manufacturer's inspection requirements and ANSI Z133 when working near power lines.
