A replacement seal for the Husqvarna 372XP X-Torque.
This Husqvarna 372XP seal is a replacement part for the X-Torque version of the 372XP. Seals keep air, fuel, and oil where they belong, and a worn one can cause lean running or leaks.
A saw uses several seals, and the most common ones are crankshaft seals on each side of the engine. Check the Husqvarna parts diagram for your model and serial to be sure this is the seal for the position you are replacing.

Seals harden with age and heat. Saws that have run hot, sat for a long time, or had a lean seizure are more likely to need new ones. Replacing them during a rebuild avoids a second teardown.
A leaking crank seal often shows up as a high or erratic idle that won't tune out, or fuel residue around the flywheel or clutch side. A pressure and vacuum test pinpoints it.
Install seals square, without nicking the lip, and with the right tool. A damaged lip will leak from the start.
If you don't have the tools or a tester, a qualified shop can do the job quickly. A saw that runs lean from a bad seal can damage the piston and cylinder in minutes of hard cutting. Keep spare seals in the parts drawer if you run several 372XP X-Torque saws. Lubricate the seal lip lightly before fitting so it doesn't run dry on startup.

Yes. An air leak makes the saw run lean, which can score the piston and cylinder.
