Replacement tank cap for Husqvarna saws when the seal leaks or the cap goes missing.
This Husqvarna fuel cap assembly replaces a leaking, cracked or lost cap on the fuel or bar oil tank of Husqvarna chainsaws. A cap that doesn't seal lets fuel and oil weep onto the saw, makes a mess of your saw box, and can pull the tank into a vacuum.
Caps get dropped in the brush, cross-threaded on a cold morning, or the gasket goes flat after a few seasons. A leaking cap leaves fuel and bar oil all over the saw and anything it touches in the truck. Fuel near a hot muffler is a fire risk you don't need.
If your saw is leaking from the top of the tank, or the cap spins without tightening, a new cap assembly is the quick fix.
Fuel and bar oil caps also take abuse from gloves and cold. If a cap is hard to grip, has a broken bail or flip-up lever, or no longer clicks shut, replace it before it lets go on the job. A saw with a missing bar oil cap will run dry and cook its bar and chain quickly, and a missing fuel cap ends the day. Keeping one spare of each cap in the truck kit is cheap insurance.
Husqvarna uses several cap designs across its saw range, including flip-up caps and older screw caps. Match the cap style and your saw model before ordering. Fuel and oil caps are usually marked with a fuel pump or oil drop symbol.
Hand-tighten the cap until it seats, and check the seal is in place each time you fuel up. See the rest of our Husqvarna parts for filters, fuel lines and more.

No. Husqvarna uses different cap styles across models, so confirm your saw model and cap type before ordering.
A worn cap seal is a common cause, but a cracked tank or oil pump issue can also leak. Check the cap first.
