A replacement fuel hose for the Husqvarna 562XP.
This Husqvarna 562XP fuel hose replaces a cracked, hardened, or leaking fuel line on the 562XP. A bad fuel hose can let the saw suck air, starve under load, or leak fuel onto a hot engine.
Fuel lines age from heat and ethanol. Look for a hose that is stiff, cracked, swollen, or wet at the connections. Symptoms include hard starting, bogging when you open the throttle, and the smell of fuel around the saw.
Replace the fuel filter at the same time. More 562XP parts are in our power equipment parts.
The 562XP is a popular saw for felling and bucking, and fuel system problems are some of the most common repairs on any saw. A new hose and filter often brings a tired saw back to life.
Drain the tank, work with the saw cool and away from ignition sources, and route the new hose exactly as the original ran so it does not rub or kink.
Use ethanol-free or pre-mixed fuel where you can, and don't leave fuel sitting in the saw for months.
After installation, run the saw and check for leaks at every connection. If the saw still runs poorly, test for air leaks and check the carburetor. Confirm the part number for your model and serial before ordering. Keep fuel fresh, since stale fuel hardens rubber parts faster. Check the tank vent as well, since a blocked vent can mimic a bad fuel line.

A leaking or collapsed fuel hose, a clogged fuel filter, or an air leak are common causes. Check the fuel system first.
Yes. It's cheap and usually due if the hose is.
