Anti-vibration element assembly for the Husqvarna 550XP Mark II.
This Husqvarna 550XP Mark II anti-vibration element assembly replaces a worn or broken AV mount on the 50cc saw. When an element goes, the handles feel loose and more vibration reaches your hands.
The 550XP Mark II is a common crew saw for limbing and bucking, and it spends a lot of hours running. Anti-vibration elements fatigue, and a broken one changes how the saw feels. You might notice the rear handle sagging, the saw twisting in your grip or a new rattle.
Worn AV mounts make you work harder to control the saw and raise vibration exposure, which over time is hard on hands and arms.
A simple check is to hold the saw by the rear handle and front handle with the engine off and gently twist. A little give is normal, since the system is designed to flex. A clunk, a sagging handle or a lot of free play points to a broken element. Checking AV mounts during regular service helps keep a crew saw comfortable and in control on long days.
Check the parts diagram to see which location this assembly goes in. Remove the covers or handle needed for access, take out the old element and install the new one so it seats fully. Tighten fasteners to spec.
Inspect every AV element while the saw is apart and replace any that look tired. More 550XP Mark II parts are in our chainsaw parts section.

A loose or sagging handle, extra vibration and visible cracks or a separated spring or rubber are common signs.
