Front anti-vibration element for the Husqvarna 592XP big-bore chainsaw.
This Husqvarna 592XP anti-vibration element replaces a front AV mount on the 92.7cc saw. Worn or broken AV elements make the saw feel loose and buzzy in your hands, which adds fatigue and reduces control on long cuts.
The anti-vibration system isolates the engine from the handles. When an element wears out or breaks, the handles start to feel sloppy, the saw droops or twists in your grip, and you feel more buzz through your hands. On a big saw that is running a long bar through large wood, that wears you out fast.
Long exposure to vibration is linked to hand-arm problems, so keeping AV mounts in good shape is a health issue, not just a comfort one.
Big saws like the 592XP spend a lot of time running long bars through big wood, so AV mounts work harder than on a smaller saw. Grab both handles and gently twist the saw with the engine off. A little movement is normal, but a clunk or a lot of free play means a mount is worn or broken. Catching it early keeps the saw comfortable and controllable through a long day.
Access depends on the mount location. Remove the covers or handle parts needed to reach the front element, take the old one out and install the new one, seating it fully. Tighten fasteners to the service manual figure.
If one element has failed, check the others too. More 592XP parts are in our chainsaw parts section.

There are several mounts in the system. Check the parts diagram for your saw to see each location and part.
It is not a good idea. Control and comfort both suffer, and the remaining mounts take extra load.
