Ignition module assembly listed as the MP version for the Husqvarna 572XP.
This Husqvarna 572XP MP ignition module assembly is the MP-listed version of the coil for the 572XP. Husqvarna has used more than one ignition part across 572XP production, so match the part to your saw's model and serial before ordering.
Husqvarna updates parts during a model's run, and the 572XP is no exception. The MP listing is a separate part from the standard 572XP module listed elsewhere on this site. The safest way to order is to look up your saw's model and serial number in a Husqvarna parts lookup or ask a dealer, then match the part number.
If in doubt, do not guess. Ignition parts are generally not returnable once installed.
The model and serial number are on a label on the saw body. Write them down before you order any ignition part, and keep them in your records with the date you bought the saw. That makes it much easier to get the right part quickly the next time the saw needs work. A dealer can also confirm fitment if you give them that number over the phone.
Rule out the spark plug, plug lead and stop switch wiring first, then check spark with a tester. A coil that is dead, weak, or fails only when the saw is hot is a good candidate for replacement.
Mount the new module, set the air gap to the flywheel with a gauge to the service manual figure, and tighten evenly. Find the standard module and other parts in our chainsaw parts section.

They are listed as separate parts for different 572XP versions. Check your saw's model and serial number against the parts listing to know which one you need.
Yes. Weak spark can make a saw hard to start, especially when warm.
