A .325 pitch, 7-tooth spur-style drive sprocket for chainsaws.
This .325 spur sprocket has 7 teeth and drives .325 pitch chain on saws built around a fixed spur drive. Replace it when the teeth are hooked or worn, and you will get full life out of new chains.
On a spur drive, the sprocket teeth are fixed to the clutch drum. There is no floating ring to replace, so when the teeth wear, the whole spur sprocket gets changed. Look for teeth that have gone pointed or hooked, or a groove where the drive links ride. A worn spur sprocket wears chain quickly and can cause the chain to jump under load.
Some saws come with a spur drive from the factory, and some owners prefer them for simplicity. A rim setup is cheaper to maintain over time, but a spur is perfectly serviceable.
Because the whole drum is replaced on a spur drive, it is worth checking wear often. Lay a new chain over the sprocket teeth: if the drive links sit loosely or ride high in worn grooves, it is time for a new sprocket. Fitting it alongside a new chain gives the best life from both parts and keeps the saw cutting smoothly.
Match pitch, tooth count, and the saw model before ordering, since spur sprockets are drum-specific. Remove the clutch cover, bar, chain, and clutch per the manual, check the needle bearing, and grease it before reassembly.
Shut the saw off and let it cool before working on it. More parts are in chainsaw parts.

On many saws, yes, by fitting a rim-style drum and rim. Check the parts list for your model.
Yes. More teeth raise chain speed but need more torque. Stay with the count your saw was designed for unless the manual allows otherwise.
