The Eagle safety can funnel attaches to the spout of an Eagle safety can so you can pour into a narrow fuel opening without spilling. It is a simple replacement when the old funnel is lost, bent, or cracked.

A small part that saves fuel

Pouring from a 5 gallon can straight into a chipper or loader tank is a good way to splash fuel on a warm engine. The funnel puts the stream where it belongs, and that means less waste, less mess in the truck, and less fire risk.

Check that the funnel matches your Eagle can before ordering, since cans differ by model. You can find matching cans in our fluids section.

A spill on a hot muffler or chipper exhaust is a real fire risk, and spilled fuel in the truck bed is a mess that lingers for weeks. A funnel is one of the cheapest ways to cut that risk on every refuel.

Keep it clean

Wipe the funnel after use and store it so dirt and sawdust do not get carried into the next tank. Grit in fuel is hard on carburetors and injectors.

Replace a funnel that is cracked or no longer seats firmly, and fuel only with the engine off and cooled.

If your can is old or the lid spring is tired, it may be worth replacing the whole can. Inspect the funnel threads or fitting so it seats tightly and doesn't drip at the joint. Swap it as soon as it starts to leak at the joint.
