Why use biodegradable bar oil

Every saw throws oil off the chain while it cuts, and on a tree job that oil lands in lawns, flower beds, and sometimes creeks. A biodegradable oil reduces that footprint, which matters to many residential and municipal customers.

Fill the oil tank every time you fill the fuel tank, and check that the bar is wet before you start cutting. A dry chain stretches and dulls quickly and wears the bar.
