A 210 mm medium-tooth replacement blade for the Silky Gomboy folding saw.
The Silky Gomboy 210mm medium teeth blade is a replacement blade for the Gomboy 210 folding saw, sold without the handle. Medium teeth are the all-round choice for pruning live wood in small to mid-size limbs.
Silky makes Gomboy blades with different tooth sizes. Medium teeth cut a bit slower than large teeth but leave a cleaner face and feel smoother in green wood, which is why many climbers keep them on a pruning saw. Large teeth suit faster cutting in bigger limbs, and fine teeth suit small, precise cuts.
Make sure the blade length matches your handle. A 210 mm blade fits only the Gomboy 210 handle. Other Silky blades are in our replacement blades section.
Keep a spare blade in the truck. When a blade gets bent on a hidden nail or dull from sandy bark in the middle of a job, a two-minute swap gets you back to work without a trip to the store.
Silky blades use hardened, impulse-hardened teeth that are not designed to be filed, so when the saw starts to push instead of pull through the cut, or a few teeth are bent or missing, it is time for a new blade. Swapping the blade costs far less than a new saw.
Fold the saw, remove the pivot and lock screws, fit the new blade, and tighten the screws so the blade locks firmly open with no play. Replace worn screws if needed. Handle the blade with gloves, because new Silky teeth are very sharp.

No. Each Gomboy size has its own blade. This one fits the 210 mm handle only.
Silky teeth are impulse-hardened and not meant to be filed. Replace the blade when it gets dull.
