A Weaver work positioning saddle for tree climbers.
The Weaver WLC-760 saddle is a work positioning saddle from Weaver Leather, a long-time maker of tree climbing and utility gear. It is built for climbers who want a supportive saddle with room for the tools a working day needs.
The saddle is where you spend your day, so fit matters more than any feature list. It should sit snug on the hips without pinching, support your back when you lean into the lanyard, and keep tools where you can reach them without twisting. Weaver saddles have long been a common choice on crews, especially for climbers who spend a lot of time on spurs. Think about the work you do most: spur removals reward a firm, supportive saddle, while long pruning climbs reward freedom of movement.
Try on your size with the leg straps adjusted, hang in it if you can, and check that the attachment points line up with the way you climb.
Check webbing, stitching, padding, buckles, and D-rings before every climb. Look for cuts, abrasion, chemical or heat damage, cracked hardware, and pulled stitches, and retire the saddle if any load-bearing part is damaged. Store it clean and dry out of the sun. Keep a record of the saddle's in-service date so you can track its age against Weaver's retirement guidance.
Saddles are life-support gear and must meet the applicable standard and be used per ANSI Z133 and Weaver's instructions by trained climbers. Compare other Weaver saddles here.

Use Weaver's size chart for your waist and leg measurements, and try it on with the clothing you climb in.
It depends on use and care. Follow Weaver's guidance and retire it whenever inspection finds damage to load-bearing parts.
