Weaver Saw Scabbard with Pruner Pouch, Rubberized (HL-14)

The Weaver saw scabbard with pruner pouch, rubberized model HL-14, carries a hand saw and a pair of hand pruners in one holster. Pruning climbers and ground crews get both cutting tools in one place on the saddle or belt.

Two tools, one holster

Fine pruning means switching between hand pruners and a hand saw all day: pruners for small stems, saw for anything bigger. Carrying them in separate holsters crowds the saddle and puts tools on different sides. This Weaver scabbard keeps both together so you can reach for either without looking.

The rubberized build sheds sap and water and wipes clean, which matters when you are working in wet canopy or resinous conifers.

Having both tools on one holster also simplifies your saddle layout. Fewer separate holsters means fewer things to snag on branches and more room for carabiners, a lanyard and a chainsaw if the job calls for one. It works on the ground too. Hedge and shrub work, cleanup pruning around a landscape and dressing cuts on the ground all go faster when the right blade is always in the same place on your belt.

Setup and fit

Mount it where your dominant hand falls naturally and where it stays clear of your hitch, lanyard and rope. Check that your saw's blade length and shape suit the scabbard before ordering, and that your pruners seat fully in the pouch.
