Weaver 16 Inch Pole Saw Scabbard

The Weaver 16 inch pole saw scabbard covers a 16 inch pole saw blade during transport and storage. Longer blades are more exposed and harder to manage, so a properly sized cover matters even more.

Covering a long blade

A 16 inch pole saw blade gives you a big bite for heavier limbs, and a lot of exposed teeth when the pole is lying in the truck. Without a cover it snags rope, cuts into bags and puts the crew at risk when they grab poles off the rack.

The scabbard slides over the blade and stays on until you are ready to cut, protecting the teeth from rocks, steel and other tools.

Covered blades also stay sharper. Teeth that rattle against steel, gravel and other tools lose their edge long before they wear out from cutting, and a dull pole saw is slow, tiring and harder to control overhead. Keeping a scabbard on between cuts is one of the cheapest ways to get more life from a blade. On crews that share poles, a scabbard on every blade is a simple rule that protects everyone who handles the gear.

Fit and care

Measure the blade before ordering. A scabbard that is too short leaves the tip teeth bare. If you run a 13 inch hook tip blade, Weaver makes a separate scabbard for that size.
