A ready-to-work Jameson pole saw head with LS fiberglass pole sections.
The Jameson LS pole saw kit pairs a pole saw head with Jameson LS pole sections, so you have a complete reach tool out of the box. It suits ground workers and climbers who need to cut limbs above head height without a powered pole saw.
A manual pole saw is still the right tool for a lot of pruning: deadwood off a roof line, raising a canopy over a sidewalk, or cutting a hanger the climber cannot reach. It is quiet, light compared with a powered pole saw, and there is nothing to start.
This kit gives you a saw head and LS poles that join together, so you can build the length you need. Add pruner heads or extra sections from pole saws and scabbards.
A kit also means the parts are made to work together. The saw head seats on the pole the way it was designed to, the joints match, and you are not finding out on the job that a head from one brand rattles on a pole from another. For crews outfitting a new truck, that saves time and returns.
Look up before you raise a pole. Keep well clear of overhead power lines and follow your company's minimum approach distances; a fiberglass pole that is dirty or wet should not be treated as insulating. Wear a helmet and eye protection, because cut material falls toward you.
Stand to the side of the limb, not under it, and pull with smooth strokes. Wipe the poles clean after use and store them dry in a pole bag. Check joints and the saw head bolt before each job.
Replace dull or bent blades rather than forcing them, and keep a spare blade in the pole bag.

Yes. Additional Jameson sections can extend reach. Use sections from the same system so the joints lock properly.
Do not rely on them for protection. Keep the required clearance from lines and follow utility and ANSI Z133 rules.
