Connects threaded-end tools to your pruning poles so one pole can run more heads.
A threaded pole adapter lets you mount saw heads, pruner heads and other tools to a pole with a threaded tip, or fit threaded tools to a pole system that uses a different connection. It is a simple way to get more use out of the poles already on the truck.
Pruning poles come with several different connections, and not every saw head or tool matches every pole. A threaded pole adapter bridges that gap. With the right one, you can swap between a pole saw head, a pruner or a hook on the same pole without carrying a second pole set.
That matters when you are working out of a crowded truck or walking a long clearance route. Fewer poles to haul, and less time hunting for the right one.
An adapter is also handy when you buy a new tool and want to keep using the poles you already own, instead of replacing a whole set.
Before ordering, confirm the thread type on your tool and the connection on your pole. A loose or wrong-thread fit can let a head spin or drop while you are working overhead. Thread it on by hand until snug, check for play, and recheck it during the day.
Keep everyone out from under the work zone and never use pole tools near energized lines unless you are qualified for line clearance and the poles are rated for it. See compatible poles in our poles and kits section.
Wipe the threads clean and keep them free of grit so they thread on smoothly without cross-threading.

It depends on your pole's connection and your tool's thread. Check both before ordering.
No. Insulation depends on the pole construction and rating, not the adapter. Treat any pole as conductive unless it is rated and tested.
