Replacement fastener set for Marvin pole pruner and saw heads.
The Marvin cap screw, washer and nut set replaces the fasteners on Marvin pole tools. Worn or lost hardware lets the blade wobble, and a sloppy pivot leaves ragged cuts and stresses the head.
Marvin pruner and saw heads are simple, tough tools, and the hardware that holds them together is what keeps them cutting right. Vibration, blade changes and the odd drop work fasteners loose over time. A worn screw or missing washer can let the blade shift off the hook, which turns a clean bypass cut into a crushed, torn stub.
Replacing the full set at once keeps everything matched and avoids mixing worn and new parts.
Check head hardware as part of your regular pole tool inspection. Look for a nut that has backed off, a washer that is cupped or missing, or a screw with worn threads or a bent shank. Any of those can let the head drift out of adjustment, and a part that falls off overhead is easy to lose in leaf litter or brush. Keep a small parts box in the truck with the springs, bolts and links your heads use. A ten minute repair in the yard beats losing half a day of pole work to a part you could have had on hand.
Remove the old hardware, clean the pivot area and fit the new cap screw with the washer in the same order as original. Tighten the nut until the blade moves freely without side play. Run the head through several strokes and recheck before use.
Check the part position on your Marvin parts diagram before ordering. More pole parts and heads are in our poles and pole kits section.

Marvin uses this style of hardware on several heads. Compare against your parts list or the old fastener to confirm.
Snug enough to remove side play while the blade still opens and closes freely.
