A 2.2mm throw line that is easy to grip and strong enough for hauling lines.
Notch Acculine 2.2mm throw line is a slightly heavier throw line that is easy to grip and pull. It suits climbers who want a line that handles well with gloves and hauls a climbing line up without cutting into the hands.
Thin throw line flies further, but it can be hard to hold and harsh on the hands when you haul a long climbing line up through the crown. At 2.2mm, Acculine gives you more to grab, tangles less, and is easier to manage with gloves on. You give up a little height on the throw for that comfort.
It is a good choice for lower crotches, frequent line setting, and crews who use the throw line to pull up rigging lines. Compare other throw lines for thinner options.
Many climbers keep a thin line for high, hard throws and a thicker one like Acculine for everyday line setting and rigging jobs.
Store it flaked in a cube or bag, keep it clean of sap and grit, and cut out nicked or worn sections. Pair it with a throw weight heavy enough to pull the thicker line through the canopy.
Throw line is not life-support gear. Use it only to set your climbing or rigging line, and keep everyone clear of the drop zone when throwing and when pulling a bag down.
Coil and bag it after each use so it is ready for the next tree.

Usually not quite as high, because thicker line adds drag. It makes up for that with easier handling.
A slightly heavier bag helps pull thicker line through. Many climbers carry a few weights for different trees.
