A telescoping 36V pole saw for ground pruning, sold without battery or charger.
The Husqvarna 530iPT is a telescoping battery pole saw built for pruning and clearance work from the ground. This listing is the bare tool, aimed at crews that already run Husqvarna 36V batteries and chargers.
A battery pole saw shines on the jobs where a gas pole saw is overkill: raising canopies over sidewalks, clearing limbs off a roof line, and cleaning up after a climber without sending anyone back up. With no pull cord and no exhaust it starts on the trigger, runs quiet enough for residential streets, and does not stink up a client's patio.
The telescoping shaft lets one tool cover low limbs and high ones. Keep cuts within the bar's capacity, undercut heavier limbs to stop bark tearing, and stand out from under the drop zone. Browse other battery-powered equipment if you are building out a cordless kit.
Buying tool-only makes sense if you already own Husqvarna 36V batteries from a top-handle saw, blower, or trimmer. If you are new to the platform, price a battery and charger alongside it, since runtime depends on the battery you pair with it.
Wear a helmet, eye protection, and gloves, keep the saw well clear of power lines, and only let trained workers operate it near energized conductors. Follow ANSI Z133 and the Husqvarna operator's manual for chain tension, lubrication, and maintenance.
On a typical day it rides in the truck next to the climber's gear and comes out for the cleanup cuts nobody wants to climb for.

Not this version. It is sold as a bare tool, so you need a compatible Husqvarna 36V battery and charger.
Only qualified line-clearance workers should work near energized lines. Everyone else must keep the required clearance distances under ANSI Z133.
