A 7/8 in. soft anchor sling with two XL rings for friction rigging points.
This double ring 7/8 in. soft anchor rigging sling carries two XL rings, giving you a soft, hardware-light rigging point with built-in friction. Run the line through both rings to slow and control lowering right at the anchor.
Running a rigging line through two rings builds friction where the load is caught, which takes some of the work off the lowering device and the ground crew. It also gives you two connection points on one sling for redirects or separate lines.
The 7/8 in. size is built for heavier wood and bigger trees. See all adjustable slings for other configurations.
Set the sling on a sound stem close to the trunk, load the rings in line, and remember that friction at the rings means wear on the rope and the ring surfaces. Watch both and keep the system within its rating.
Before each job, run the sling through your hands. Look for cut or pulled strands, glazed or melted fibers, flat or stiff spots, and heavy UV fading, and check that the splices and buries are intact. Retire it if you find damage you can't explain or after a shock load bigger than you planned for. Rigging gear is for moving wood, not for life support. Match every component to the load with a working margin, follow the manufacturer's ratings and ANSI Z133, and make sure the crew is trained in rigging before relying on it. Note when each piece went into service, so worn gear gets retired on time instead of living on the truck for years.

Two rings add friction for better control of the load, or give two attachment points on one sling.
It adds wear over time. Inspect your rigging line regularly and keep ring surfaces smooth and clean.
