Jameson Ram's Horn Vine Puller and Lifter, Twin-Prong

The Jameson Ram's Horn vine puller is a nylon twin-prong head that mounts on a pole to pull vines, drag down small hangers, and lift or guide lines from the ground. It lets you clear material overhead without climbing for every small task.

What it does

Vines wrapped through a canopy and small broken limbs hung up in a crown are slow work to clear by climbing. With the Ram's Horn on a pole, you can hook the vine or hanger from the ground and pull it free. The twin prongs grab better than a single hook and are easier to release.

It is also handy for lifting a rope over a limb, repositioning a line, or retrieving a throw line from the ground.

Nylon is lighter than steel and less likely to scar bark when you hook a limb, which matters on high-value trees and client landscapes.

Use it safely

Stand clear of the drop zone when pulling anything down and wear a helmet and eye protection. Keep poles well away from overhead power lines; only qualified line-clearance workers with properly rated insulated tools should work near energized conductors.

Pull with steady force rather than jerking, and let the material come down before stepping in to clear it. Check the prongs for cracks or wear before each use, and replace the head if it is damaged.
