GroundPro grade

The Husqvarna BLi300 is a high-capacity 36V lithium-ion battery for Husqvarna's battery chainsaws, blowers, and trimmers. It carries more energy than the smaller packs, so it suits long ground runs where weight on the tool matters less.

When the bigger pack makes sense

A blower or a rear-handle battery saw on cleanup can drain a small pack fast. The BLi300 roughly doubles the runtime of the mid-size packs, which means fewer swaps on a long day of limbing brush and blowing off driveways. It is heavier, so many climbers keep smaller packs for top-handle saws aloft and run the BLi300 on the ground.

It works across Husqvarna's 36V line, so one pack can move between a saw, pole saw, hedge trimmer, and handheld blower.

Think about how you will charge on the job. A big pack takes longer to fill, so a rapid charger and a truck inverter or generator help keep packs cycling. Crews that run battery tools all day often pair one or two large packs with several smaller ones and rotate them through the charger at breaks.

Charging and storage

Charge with a Husqvarna charger, let hot packs cool first, and keep them out of a closed truck cab in summer heat. For winter storage, leave the pack partly charged in a cool, dry spot.

Clean dust and sap off the contacts now and then, and number your packs so they get used in rotation and age evenly across the crew's tools.

Retire any battery that has been dropped hard, cracked, or soaked, and recycle it properly. Follow Husqvarna's instructions for use and storage. See more in battery-powered equipment.
