A light rear-handle 36V battery saw with a 14 in bar for ground and cleanup work.
The Husqvarna 535i XP is a 36V rear-handle battery chainsaw that runs a 14 inch bar and weighs about 5.7 lb without the battery. It suits limbing, light bucking, pruning cuts from the ground, and work where noise and fumes matter.
On residential jobs, school grounds, and early starts, a battery saw is easy on neighbors. The 535i XP starts on the trigger, runs without exhaust, and makes quick work of limbing and small cleanup cuts. It pairs well with a top-handle battery saw for the climber.
It is not a replacement for a 60 cc gas saw on big wood. Think of it as the groundie's limbing saw. See other battery powered equipment that shares the same battery.
Battery saws also make sense for crews working inside buildings or near patients and pets, and for quick cuts where starting a gas saw is overkill. They need very little routine maintenance beyond chain and bar care.
Runtime depends on the battery size and the wood. Many crews carry two batteries and swap while one charges in the truck. Keep batteries out of extreme heat and cold.
Keep the chain sharp and tensioned and the oil reservoir full. Even quiet saws kick back. Wear chainsaw protective pants or chaps, eye and hearing protection, and follow ANSI Z133 and the operator's manual.
Charge batteries with the Husqvarna charger, keep contacts clean and dry, and store them partly charged over long breaks. Let a hot battery cool before recharging it.

No. It is a rear-handle saw. For in-tree work, Husqvarna makes the T535i XP top-handle version.
It is often sold as a bare tool. Check the listing for what's included.
