Rigid fiberglass scabbard that mounts inside the bucket to hold a saw secure.
This fiberglass inside-mount bucket truck scabbard gives your saw a fixed home inside the bucket. It keeps the blade covered and out of the way while you work, and stops a loose saw from sliding around underfoot.
In a bucket, a hand saw or pole saw head that is not stowed ends up on the floor, where you step on it or catch a boot on the teeth. An inside-mount scabbard keeps the blade sheathed and pointing down within easy reach. Mounting it inside the bucket keeps it clear of limbs and the boom, and away from anything you might snag when you swing in close to a stem.
Fiberglass is rigid, so the blade cannot cut through the wall, and it stands up to weather.
Keeping the saw in a fixed spot also means you always know where it is. That saves time on every cut, and it means the saw is not dropped from the bucket because it was perched on the rim. Many line clearance crews run a scabbard on every bucket in the fleet.
Check where it will sit before drilling or strapping anything to the bucket, and follow your lift maker's rules on modifying the bucket or liner. Some buckets carry a dielectric rating that must not be compromised. Bucket work near conductors requires trained, qualified operators working to ANSI Z133.

It is meant for a hand saw or pole saw blade. Check the inside length and opening against your saw.
Only if your lift maker allows it. Drilling can affect a bucket's dielectric rating, so check first.
