Clogger's Spider arborist pant in gray, made for tree crews who move a lot.
Clogger Spider pants are arborist work pants from Clogger, the Australian maker best known for chainsaw protective clothing, shown here in gray. They are cut for climbing and ground work and built to handle bark, brush and rope.
Clogger designs clothing specifically for arborists, and the Spider pant follows that approach: room through the seat and knee for high steps, fabric meant to stand up to bark and rope, and a fit that works with a saddle. The gray version is a plain, low-key color that hides dirt and looks tidy between jobs.
If you are choosing between several pairs, compare fabric weight, stretch and pocket layout across our tree climbing pants. Climbers who spend all day aloft usually favor stretch and lighter weight; ground crews often want tougher fabric.
Clogger is a specialist in arborist clothing, and its gear is widely used by tree crews in Australia, New Zealand and North America. If you are new to the brand, read the product label and size chart carefully before your first order.
Clogger makes both chainsaw-protective trousers and general work clothing. Read the label on your pair: chainsaw pants state the standard they meet and the protected area. If no cut-protection standard is listed, treat them as work pants and wear chaps or chainsaw pants when you run a saw on the ground, as ANSI Z133 requires.
Wash per the care label, keep fuel and solvents off the fabric, and inspect seams and high-wear areas regularly.

Check the label. Clogger chainsaw trousers state the protection standard they meet. Without that, wear chaps or chainsaw pants when running a saw.
Clogger uses its own size chart, and sizing can differ from US work pants. Measure your waist and inseam and compare before ordering.
