A tough webbing trouser belt that sits flat under a climbing saddle.
The Arbortec heavy duty webbing belt is a trouser belt made for tree workers. It holds work pants or chainsaw trousers in place with a low profile that sits more comfortably under a saddle than a thick leather belt.
A thick leather belt and a big buckle can press into your hips under a saddle waist belt. A webbing belt lies flatter, bends with you and does not soak up sweat the same way. The Arbortec belt is made to hold up heavy work pants and chainsaw trousers through a full day of climbing, dragging and bucking.
It pairs well with any of the tree climbing pants we carry. Many climbers run a belt and suspenders together on heavy chainsaw trousers.
Webbing also handles wet days better than leather. It does not stiffen or crack after a soaking, and it dries out on the dash on the drive home. Set the length once over the pants you wear most, then adjust a notch for winter layers or lighter summer pants.
This is a trouser belt only. It is not a positioning belt or fall protection, and you should never clip a lanyard, rope or tool to it as a life-support point. Clip life-support gear only to the rated attachment points on your saddle, follow the manufacturer's instructions and ANSI Z133, and get proper training.
Rinse out sweat and sap now and then and let it air dry. Replace it if the webbing frays or the buckle stops holding.

Yes. That is what a low-profile webbing belt is for. Check that the buckle does not sit under a saddle buckle or bridge attachment.
No. It only holds up your pants. Use your rated saddle for anything life-support.
