Arborwear Ascender Pants, Driftwood

Arborwear Ascender pants are stretch work pants made for tree climbers, here in a light driftwood color. They move with you on high steps and limb walks and sit comfortably under saddle leg loops.

Made to move in a tree

Stiff canvas fights you when you step up onto a limb or spread your feet across a crotch. The Ascender uses stretch fabric and a climbing cut so you can move freely without the pants binding at the knee or pulling at the waist. It sits comfortably under leg loops and a saddle waist belt for hours.

Fit, care and limits

Try them with your saddle on if you can. A good climbing fit is snug at the waist and roomy through the thigh, with pockets that do not sit under a leg loop. Empty heavy items from pockets before you go up.

These are work pants, not chainsaw protection. When you run a saw on the ground, wear chaps or chainsaw-protective pants as ANSI Z133 requires. Wash cold, hang dry or tumble low, and check crotch and knee seams regularly so small tears get fixed early. Expect them to last longest if you rotate pairs through the week.
