GroundMaintenancePro grade

The Husqvarna 560BTS is a 65cc gas backpack blower built for commercial crews. It moves sawdust, leaves and chipper debris quickly, so cleanup at the end of a tree job takes less time.

Cleanup is part of the job

Customers judge a tree job by how the yard looks when you leave. A strong backpack blower clears sawdust off driveways, blows chips out of beds and moves leaves into a pile for the chipper. The 560BTS has the output to do that fast on big properties.

The backpack layout puts the weight on your back rather than your arm, and the padded harness helps on long runs. The throttle on the tube lets you feather the air around flower beds and parked cars.

Pair it with a good set of ear muffs and safety glasses, and set the throttle lower when working near cars, windows and flower beds. A blower that runs well at partial throttle saves fuel and keeps neighbors happier on residential jobs. Store it with the fuel tank empty if it will sit for more than a few weeks.

Fuel and maintenance

Run fresh mixed fuel at the ratio Husqvarna specifies, or use pre-mixed ethanol-free fuel for easier starts. Clean or replace the air filter regularly, check the spark plug, and keep the intake screen clear of leaves.

Wear hearing and eye protection, and keep the nozzle away from people and pets. Check local noise rules for early starts. See more blowers and equipment.
