A saddle tool carrier that keeps hand tools hanging where you can reach them.
The Notch Swinger tool carrier hangs from your saddle so a hand saw, pole saw, or other tools hang free and stay in reach. It is a storage accessory, so it lives beside, not inside, your climbing system.
The more tools you carry aloft, the more they fight for space on your gear loops. A tool carrier like the Swinger gives a tool its own spot so it hangs clean, swings out of the way when you move, and is easy to grab when you need it.
Set it where it will not snag your lanyard or interfere with your climbing system. Other saddle storage options cover saws and heavier gear.
Keep storage gear clearly separate from life-support connections, and never clip a climbing line, lanyard, or rigging into a tool carrier. Do not overload it beyond what Notch states.
A good carrier also saves your gear loops. Hand saws and pole saw heads hung on regular loops tend to swing into your legs and snag on limbs, and the extra weight wears the loops faster. Giving the tool its own carrier keeps the saddle neater and makes every reach for a tool quicker. Move it around until you find the spot where it hangs clear and is still easy to reach.
Inspect it with the rest of your saddle for wear, cracks, and damaged attachment points, and replace it when worn. Follow ANSI Z133 and the manufacturer's instructions for all climbing gear, and climb only with proper training.
