Add-on padding for harness leg straps on long days.
Safewaze comfort leg pads are add-on harness leg pads that cushion the leg straps of a full-body harness, which helps on long shifts in an aerial lift. They spread the pressure of the straps so the harness is easier to wear all day.
A harness that rubs gets loosened or left in the truck. Padding the leg straps makes a full-body harness easier to wear correctly for a full shift, which is the point of fall protection.
Fit the pads so they do not change how the straps sit or how the buckles close.
Workers in bucket trucks often stand in the same spot for hours, and leg straps can press on the same area all day. Pads help reduce that pressure. They are a small add-on that can make a big difference to whether a crew member keeps the harness adjusted properly from morning to quitting time.
Use pads that are approved for your harness, and follow Safewaze's instructions. When you inspect the harness, slide the pads aside so you can see the webbing and stitching underneath.
Keep the pads clean and dry along with the harness. If the pads become torn or contaminated with oil or chemicals, replace them, and inspect the harness underneath for the same damage.
