ClimbingPro grade

The DMM Kinisi Pro is DMM's top arborist harness, a bridge saddle designed to stay light and move with you on long climbs. It is aimed at full-time climbers working both MRS and SRS systems.

Why climbers choose the Kinisi Pro

DMM has a long history in climbing hardware, and the Kinisi Pro brings that thinking to the saddle. The goal is a harness that disappears when you are working: a bridge that lets your system follow you around the stem, leg loops that carry the load without hot spots, and a layout that keeps your gear where your hands expect it.

It is a good match for climbers who spend most of the day on rope doing removals, pruning, or storm work and want less bulk at the hips.

A lighter saddle pays off late in the day. Less weight on the hips means less fatigue on repeated ascents, and a clean layout means fewer snagged lanyards and slings when you are moving through tight canopy. Think about how you rack your gear before you buy, so the loops and attachment points match the way you actually work.

Setting it up and keeping it in service

Adjust the waist and legs on the ground, then hang test low with your full kit attached. Check stitching, buckles, the bridge, and every connector before each climb. Retire the saddle if you find cuts, heat damage, or chemical contact, and keep it away from bar oil and fuel in the truck.

See our other European saddles if you want to compare fit. Life-support gear must meet the applicable standard (ANSI Z133 and the manufacturer's instructions), be inspected before every use, and be used only by trained climbers.
