The Arborwear Tech Double Thick pullover sweatshirt is a heavyweight work sweatshirt built for tree crews, here in black with safety yellow. It is the layer you reach for on cold mornings, warm enough to work in and bright enough to be seen on the ground.
Fall cleanups and winter removals start cold. A heavy pullover keeps your core warm while you set up, run the chipper, or wait for the crane, and it holds up to brush, bark, and the rub of a saddle better than a light hoodie. The safety yellow panels add visibility for ground workers near traffic and equipment.
Layer it under a shell when it rains and peel it off once you are working hard. More layers are in our sweatshirts and jackets section.
A pullover also has no zipper to snag on bark or gear, and no open front to flap around while you work. It stays put under a saddle or a chainsaw chap harness and does not bunch the way a hoodie can.
Pick a size that lets you reach overhead and lean back in a saddle without the hem riding up. Loose cuffs and drawstrings can catch in a chipper or a rope system, so keep them tucked and never wear loose clothing near chippers or stump grinders.
A bright sweatshirt helps, but it is not a substitute for ANSI-rated high-visibility apparel where a job, road work zone, or employer requires it. Wash it per the care label to keep the colors bright.

It adds visibility, but do not treat it as rated high-visibility apparel unless the label states a certification.
Yes, as a warm layer. Keep it from interfering with your saddle and keep cuffs and hems tidy.
