Buckingham Dyneema 7 ft Flipline Connection Strap

The Buckingham Dyneema 7 ft flipline connection strap is a light, strong strap used in flipline and rope grab setups. Dyneema keeps the weight down and resists stretch.

What it is for

Buckingham makes this strap for flipline setups, where a connection between the saddle, the flipline and a rope grab or adjuster has to be strong and light. Dyneema is very strong for its weight and stretches very little, which makes it a good material for straps that carry load without adding bulk.

The 7 foot length gives room to work around larger stems and in setups where a longer connection is needed.

Many climbers run a strap like this when they need a long, light connection that will not soak up water or stretch under load. It also packs small and weighs very little on the saddle, which matters on long removals where every ounce adds up over the day.

Know your material

Dyneema has a low melting point, so keep it away from friction heat. Do not tie it in knots or use it where a friction hitch rubs on it. Use the strap only in the way Buckingham specifies for your flipline and rope grab, and with rated connectors.
