The side adaptors that let a Kask Zenith take a visor and earmuffs.
Kask Zenith visor adaptors are the side mounts that let you fit a Kask visor and earmuffs to a Zenith helmet. Without them, the Zenith has no place to attach face and hearing protection for saw work.
The Zenith is a popular lightweight helmet, but out of the box it is set up for climbing rather than saw work. The adaptors fit to the sides of the shell and give you mounting points for a Kask visor and earmuffs.
That turns the Zenith into a full saw helmet setup, so you can wear one helmet for climbing, rigging and running the saw.
Adaptors are small parts that take a lot of knocks, especially when the helmet gets tossed in the truck or bag. Keep a spare set on hand so a broken mount does not mean working without a visor or muffs. When you replace them, check that your visor and muffs are still in good shape too, since worn parts tend to wear out together.
Fit the adaptors following Kask's instructions, then attach your visor and muffs and check that each one locks in place and moves smoothly. Replace adaptors that are cracked, loose or worn.
Rinse sap and dust off with water and mild soap, let it dry, and replace it once it is bent, torn or hard to see through. A visor adds protection from chips and debris but does not replace safety glasses, so wear both. More options are in our eye protection range.
