A mesh face visor made to clip onto Kask Super Plasma helmets.
The Kask mesh visor for Super Plasma helmets is a face screen that keeps chips, sawdust and twigs off your face without fogging the way a clear shield can. It is made to mount on Kask Super Plasma helmets and pairs with Kask earmuffs.
Mesh is the default for most tree climbers because it breathes. Air moves through it, so it stays clear on hot days and when you are breathing hard on an ascent, while still stopping most chips and debris from the saw.
On the ground it is just as useful for limbing, bucking and feeding the chipper, where wood bits fly at face height.
The Super Plasma is a popular helmet on tree crews, and a fitted mesh visor turns it into a full saw helmet setup. Choose mesh over a clear shield if you work in hot weather or climb hard, and keep a spare visor in the truck since a bent screen is hard to see through. Pair it with Kask earmuffs to complete the setup for saw work.
The visor mounts to the Super Plasma using Kask's attachment system. Make sure it clicks in securely on both sides and flips up and down smoothly before you leave the ground.
Rinse sap and dust off with water and mild soap, let it dry, and replace it once it is bent, torn or hard to see through. A visor adds protection from chips and debris but does not replace safety glasses, so wear both. More options are in our eye protection range.

No. It is made for the Super Plasma. Kask makes a separate visor for the Zenith.
Yes. Mesh stops chips but not fine dust or splinters, so wear safety glasses underneath.
