This 2-in-1 wire core flip line kit gives you a complete positioning setup with two legs, so you can stay tied in while passing limbs on a spar. The steel core flip line adds cut resistance where the saw works close to the rope.

Why a kit

Buying a flipline kit saves matching parts yourself. The lanyard, adjuster and hardware are chosen to work together, and you can climb with it as soon as you have read the instructions and set it up correctly.

The 2-in-1 layout means a second leg is always ready when you reach a limb on a removal.

Kits also make it easier to replace a worn flipline with the same setup you are used to. Your hands already know the adjuster and the length, so there is no relearning on the stem.

Care and inspection

Inspect the cover for cuts and glazing, feel for broken wire strands and kinks, and check the splices and snaps. Retire the flipline if the core is damaged. Wire core resists cuts but is not chainsaw proof. Life-support gear has to meet the applicable standard and the manufacturer's instructions, get inspected before every climb, and be used only by trained climbers.

Never store a flipline kinked, wet or under weight. Hang or coil it loosely in a dry place away from fuel, oil and sharp hardware. Clean sap from the adjuster so it keeps gripping consistently.
