Gravity Line Aurora 11.5mm Climbing Rope, 200 ft

The Gravity Line Aurora climbing rope is an 11.5mm arborist line supplied in a 200 ft length. The slim diameter keeps weight down on long lines, and the length covers doubled-rope climbing in tall trees.

A long, slim line

Two hundred feet of rope is heavy, and dropping to 11.5mm takes some of that weight off your back on the walk in and off your saddle on the way up. It is a good length for big shade trees and for crews that set high tie-ins and need enough rope to work doubled back to the ground.

The slimmer line feeds freely through many SRS devices and pulleys. For moving rope climbing, pair it with a hitch cord sized for it, since a cord meant for 13mm rope may not grab as well.

A long slim line also packs more compactly in a rope bag than a thicker rope of the same length, which helps when the truck is already full of rigging gear and you need to carry a second climbing line.

Setup and care

Confirm that your device lists 11.5mm rope as compatible, and test any new hitch low. Keep the line bagged and clean, and cut a long line down if the ends wear before the middle.
