About WD-40
Saws, pruners, wedges and trailer hitches all take a beating from weather and sap. A quick spray and wipe helps keep rust off bare steel, frees up seized nuts and makes cleanup easier at the end of the day.
Keep it off climbing and rigging soft goods and away from ropes, harnesses and friction hitches, and do not use it on any life-support hardware unless the manufacturer says it is acceptable. Wipe excess off handles so they do not get slick.
