About Tree Austria
European climbing gear has a strong following among arborists, and new names show up regularly. When something unfamiliar crosses your bench, start with the basics: what is it for, what is it rated for, and does it work with the rope and hardware you already run.
Practice with new gear close to the ground before you take it up. Any gear that holds a person must meet the applicable standard (ANSI Z133 and the manufacturer's instructions), be inspected before each use, and be used by trained climbers.
