A swiveling Rock Exotica pulley that loads rope without unclipping.
The Rock Exotica Omni-Block 1.1 is a compact swivel pulley whose side plates open while it stays clipped to the anchor, so you can load the rope without dropping anything. Tree climbers and rigging crews use it for redirects, haul systems, and climbing system setups.
Being able to open a pulley without unclipping it is a real advantage aloft. You can drop the rope in mid-system, keep the pulley attached to the anchor, and avoid fumbling hardware over a drop zone. The swivel lets the pulley line up with the load so ropes do not twist.
Climbers use it in SRT base anchors, redirects, and haul systems, and rigging crews use it for tag lines and light tensioning. Compare it with other rigging pulleys.
The rounded frame and smooth sheave keep friction low, so it works well in haul systems and anywhere a rope needs to change direction without much wear.
Read the marked rope range and rating and keep loads inside them. It is not a rigging block for blocking down wood.
Before each use, check that the side plates close and lock fully, the swivel turns freely, and the sheave spins smoothly with no grooves or play. Rinse off grit and sap. Life-support use must follow the maker's instructions, ANSI Z133, and your training.
Store it clean and dry, away from chemicals, and retire it after a drop from height onto a hard surface unless the maker says otherwise.

Many climbers do. Confirm it meets your system's requirements and use it per the maker's instructions and ANSI Z133.
It is the size designation in the Omni-Block range. Larger sizes are made for bigger rope and loads.
