Compact cam rope grab for lanyards and progress capture.
The ISC Rocker is a compact rope grab built around a pivoting cam. Arborists use it to adjust positioning lanyards and to capture progress, and it can be clipped in or removed without untying the rope.
The Rocker is a cam rope grab that rocks onto the rope when loaded and releases when you take the load off. That simple action makes it a tidy way to shorten a flipline or positioning lanyard: slide it up to tighten, and lean back to lock it in place.
Climbers also set it up for progress capture in a pulley system or as part of a foot-lock or chest setup, depending on what ISC approves. Because it loads onto the rope without threading the end, you can add it partway through a climb. The small size keeps it out of the way on the saddle bridge.
Read the manufacturer's instructions for this device and confirm the rope diameter and construction you climb on falls inside its approved range. A device that grips well on one rope can slip or bind on another, so test it low and slow on new rope before you trust it at height.
Inspect the cam teeth, springs, side plates, and attachment points before every climb, and keep the device free of sap and grit. Life-support gear must meet the applicable standard (ANSI Z133 and the manufacturer's instructions), be inspected before every climb, and be used only by trained climbers. Never improvise a configuration the maker does not show. Compare other options in ascent and descent gear.

Check the diameter and rope types marked on the device and in ISC's instructions. Test on your own rope before climbing on it.
Yes, that is one of its most common jobs. Set it up as ISC shows and inspect the cam before each climb.
