About Ropetek
Rigging takes a team: the climber setting up the cut, the groundworker managing the line and the gear in between. Rigging equipment such as lowering devices, blocks and related hardware has to be sized for the forces involved, which can be far higher than the weight of the piece when a load is shock-loaded.
Check the rated limits of each Ropetek product, match it to your rope and slings, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for setup. Inspect rigging gear before each job and retire anything damaged. Rigging should only be done by trained crews.
