About Edge
Plenty of products carry the Edge name, so the first step is to confirm exactly what a given item is and who makes it. From there, ask the usual questions: what is it rated for, how does it fit your setup and how easy is it to inspect.
If an Edge product is protective equipment, make sure it is rated for the hazard you face. If it is used for climbing or rigging, it must meet the applicable standard and be inspected before use.
