This small retrieval link works without a splice. It was designed to work with our 9/16 Polydyne Ring to Ring rigging sling. The small ring will pass through the 20mm rigging ring, but will catch the 14mm ring. This retrieval link will not work with standard friction savers, as the ring will pass through the small ring on most friction savers, as well as through the pinto pulley on a pulleySAVER.
